** When backing up, put one hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. While backing up slowly, simply move your hand in the direction you want the trailer to go. **

RV Tip Tuesday. Tip #3: Get a Bigger Propane Tank Winter RVing can get chilly if you’re staying anywhere but Southern California or South Florida. In North Alabama, you’ll definitely need to use your heat. Most RV heaters and furnaces use propane. If you plan to stay put for a while, look into renting a larger propane cylinder. It carries more upfront costs, but you might just save money since you’ll buy propane in bulk instead of the retail price you pay to fill up your RV’s cylinders. And you’ll definitely save yourself from the hassle of refilling tanks or running out of propane in the middle of the night. Tip # 2: Check your RV tire pressure. Fall brings not only falling leaves 🍁🍂 but also falling tire pressures. Don’t rely on your TPMS! Check your tire pressure before each trip and regularly while traveling, especially on days with wild temperature swings! Invest in a heavy-duty tire inflator that can handle the high pressure of RV tires. Be aware that you likely won’t “feel” RV tire issues like you would in a passenger car. Stay safe on the road!
